This audiovisual presentation, by Alabama-North Carolina STD/HIV Prevention Training Centre in 2006, reviewed the epidemiology and modes of transmission of chlamydial infection, gonorrhea and syphilis in the United States. The clinical manifestations, common methods for diagnosing these conditions, updated treatment regimens, appropriate prevention counselling messages and public health measures for prevention of these conditions are also presented.
