It publishes two peer-reviewed journals: Radiology, a reputable scientific journal in the field, and RadioGraphics, the journal dedicated to continuing education in radiology. Through its educational activities, RSNA is one of the major providers of continuing education credits toward physicians' certification. The website provides up to date education material in radiology, recent advances, journals, continuing education, conference news. There are also different modules like Library of Online Assessment Module (SAM), Take RadioGraphics CME tests to earn Credit, Learn to access and use RSNA’s educational tools at the website.

The American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR), published on a monthly basis, is a reputable and highly respected peer-reviewed journal in radiology. It is the publication of The American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS), first issue of which can be dated back to more than a century ago. ARRS, founded in 1900, is the first and oldest radiology society in the United States. The society has been a forum for progress in radiology since shortly after the discovery of the x-ray and is dedicated to the goal of the advancement of medicine through the science of radiology and its allied sciences. Useful review articles can be located with ease with the search engine the archive of the journal at the website. ARRS GoldMiner (http://goldminer.arrs.org) is another service from American Roentgen Ray Society. It is a powerful search tool for accessing images published in selected peer-reviewed radiology journals. Searching of images can be done by anatomy, findings, imaging technique, and patient age and sex. Use of the Unified Medical Language System Metathesaurus from the US National Library of Medicine helps in concept and keyword searching of free-text image captions. It was searching amongst its library of about two hundred thousand radiology images from more than two hundred journals.
