Under the section ENT Videos, there are a lot of videos on ENT procedures, like tonsillectomy. There are also other videos including Signs of Otitis media, Secretaory Otitis media, Treatment of Acute Otitis media, and Chronic Suppurative Otitis media. Nasal Irrigation (Nasal Wash) for Common Upper Respiratory Conditions For patients who needs instructions on nasal irrigation, there are free resources available to the website of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Resources includes free recipe for saline solution, instructions for irrigations, troubleshooting tips, links to audio and video teaching media. At the website there are links to instructions, instructional videos, radio clips and youtube links on nasal irrigation. Primary Care Otolaryngology The third edition of this handbook (2011 Edition) is available as e-book, downloadable free of charge. The focus of the textbook is on basics of otolaryngology. Targeted to medical students and allied health professionals interested in otolaryngology, or head and neck surgery. This e-book helps readers manage uncomplicated clinical problems and recognize when to refer more serious conditions to an otolaryngologist. Ear, Nose & Throat - USA This website is designed to educate doctors and health professionals on otolaryngology. Topics covered in the website ranges from allergy, procedures, ENT cancer, hearing aids, tinnitus, cholesteatomas, ear to larynx problems. Photographs and videos are available at this website. There are also sections on Temoiral Bone Anatomy, Occupational Hearing Loss and Smoking. The World Articles in Ear, Nose and Throat WAENT is an open access internet journal on Otolaryngology. It is a platform built for easy access, sharing and dissemination of interesting cases around the world. Most submissions of the video despository are from ENT specialists, and are approved on an "appropriate" basis. These submissions are good quality video or Flash presentations developed with the use of professional educational aids. British Society of Otology A series of video materials on benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is available at the website of British Society of Otology. They include links to videos on assessment and managements of BPPV and also manouvre treatment of canalithiasis. A series of videos on clinical examinations of clinical balance function testing, including Romberg, various tests for nystamus and gaze stability, which are useful revisional materials for family physicians. Medscape reference: Clinical Procedures Medscape has a multimedia library on various clinical procedures. Under the section Ear Nose and Throat, one can find a number of well-illustrated articles on different ENT procedures.
