HKCFP 40th Anniversary Celebration Logo Design Competition

Dear Members and Friends,

2017 marks the 40th Anniversary of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians. A logo competition of the HKCFP 40th Anniversary Celebration is now open to all. Please feel free to forward the attached poster of the competition together with the email message to your family members and your friends. They are all welcomed to join the competition.

The winning logo will become the proud symbol of our 40th Anniversary Celebration, and will be used in various materials and applications related to the celebration activities throughout the HKCFP 40th Anniversary year.

Submission details:

  1. Entries must be the original work(s) of the entrant.
  2. Entries must be submitted by electronic format. The image size of the file must not exceed 1280 x 1024 pixels. The image can be saved at a resolution that will enable us to zoom in to see details during judging, but the file size must not exceed 10MB. File formats: .gif, .jpeg, .png, .pdf, preferably in RGB colour mode. 
  3. Each entrant may submit up to a maximum of THREE pieces of design work.
  4. Each entrant must submit the entries together with a submission form which includes the contact details of the entrant, the declaration of originality and authorisation on copyrights. The submission form is available at http://www.hkcfp.org.hk/list_detail_61_491.html.
  5. All entries will be acknowledged upon receipt.
  6. All entries will NOT be returned.
  7. All entries will become the properties of the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians.
  8. The copyrights of the winning entry would be transferred to the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians.
  9. A completed application form must be submitted together with your entry/entries on or before 31 October, 2016.

Judging Criteria:

The logo should work

  1. as a symbol of the 40th Anniversary of HKCFP.
  2. across online and print media, and the various applications, in terms of legibility, size/area, graphic strength etc.

Announcement and presentation of awards:

  1. Winners will be informed by the College staff in late November 2016.
  2. Those who do not receive such notification should consider their entries unsuccessful.
  3. The judging panel may decide not to make any award.
