Clinical history:

This 50-year-old female presented with acute onset of tender erythema of left leg. She then applied topical Chinese herbal medicine on her leg but without any improvement. Subsequently she was admitted to hospital and was treated with intravenous antibiotics and topical steroid with some improvement. However, she developed other erythematous nodular lesions on her right leg.


What is the most likely underlying clinical diagnosis?

A. Panniculitis
B. Cellulitis
C. Deep vein thrombosis
D. Contact dermatitis
